A Mobile tracking device that records and shares your trip live on a internet map. It works totally off the grid. You stick it to your windscreen with the supplied mount and forget about it.
We configure the unit for 30 minute tracking intervals while moving which works fine for a long distance trip. It uses 4 AAA lithium batteries which lasts between one and 4 months with this setting.
The unit is small and could be used on anything. On offroad bikes you mount behind the front number-board with a supplied silicone housing. When you hike Just strap it to the top of your backpack with some cable ties and you’re good to go.Your Map:
We create a online Tripmap that documents your journey.
The trip distance that we display will be slightly off due to the recording intervals.

Instructions:
Your unit will arrive with the inspection cover open and the unit off. You may switch it on the day before your trip starts and off once home. Pls close the cover for dust etc once switched on. Don’t over-tighten as you will crack the lid and it won’t be waterproof anymore.
You need to stick the unit to your windscreen - 3m tape already on the bracket. I suggest above the Licence disk. The Africanstuff logo should be facing the sky.
If you received a spare set of batteries:
Changing is easy when the time comes. Use the supplied screwdriver to undo the 4 phillips screws in your view from inside the vehicle (if unit mounted to windscreen) this will undo the battery compartment. Just make sure you fit them correctly and replace the cover and all will be good - a sms to me once done will help to confirm the unit is working again.
